Centennial Commemorative Lock Fest T-Shirt
Support our work to find a new owner for Willamette Falls Locks by giving or wearing this brilliant new, sapphire blue tee. The 2013 Lock Fest T-shirt brings back our original 'Open Locks' design by local artist Alma Coston and adds the logos of our partner events this year, the West Linn Centennial Celebration and the Willamette Falls Festival.
"Art Contemplates Industry" Series
Marvel at the views of artists of three historic Clackamas County hydropower plants, as documented in our collection of project catalogs. See Bull Run Powerhouse, T.W. Sullivan Powerhouse, and the Hawley Pulp and Paper Company Powerhouse (no longer in existence) through the eyes of some of the region's finest artists and photographers.
Oral History of Crown Zellerbach
Our new publication, "$1.09 an hour and glad to have it..." features seventeen workers from the Crown Zellerbach paper mill in West Linn. Their grim, funny and heart-warming stories fill the book.
Documentary Videos
Our oral history DVDs paint a vivid picture of mid-20th Century mill work through the memories of those same seventeen workers and retirees from the Crown Zellerbach paper mill in West Linn. Both documentaries are also available in local Clackamas County libraries.
First Title, released in 2006: "Grindstones, Boomsticks, Tattletales and Nips: the stories and the people of Crown Zellerbach International, West Linn Division--1928-1986" (2 hrs.), and,
the second video volume, "Friends, Fish and $1.09 an Hour." (1 hr.)
Posters featuring the art of Oregon's own Daniel Robinson celebrate the falls' area historic industry and raise funding for each year's Lock Fest.
