Lock Fest 2008

    What:       A non-profit celebration of transportation and industrial firsts at
                      Willamette Falls Locks Park
    Where:     West Linn, Oregon
    When:       Saturday, September 13, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
    Parking:    Willamette Drive and Mill Street, West Linn
                       Overflow at West Linn High School, two blocks away, at a
                       Festival shuttle stop.

    The fifth annual Lock Fest is a free, family-friendly heritage and river event at
    Willamette Falls Locks and Canal.

THE LOCKS WILL NOT BE OPEN FOR BOATERS THIS YEAR, AS THEY AWAIT A MANDATORY SAFETY INSPECTION, SCHEDULED FOR APPROXIMATELY NOV. 1 THROUGH NEW YEARS. SUPPORT THE LOCKS' FUTURE BY ATTENDING THE FESTIVAL.

    Between 9 and 6 Saturday visitors may ride our free shuttle to the exciting
    West Linn Arts Festival at Willamette Park.   West Linn Arts Festival

    Double your pleasure, double your fun: Come and enjoy history and local
    heritage, sign up for a mill and power plant tour, see boating and river displays
    and just share in fun activities for all ages, then take in a high quality fine arts
    show and sale at the Willamette Park end of our free shuttle loop.

     The shuttle stop at Willamette Park will be moved from the boat ramp to the
     wading pool this year, as there won't be any passenger boats transiting the falls.
